A Man Undercover, But You Tore Him Apart...

Ok, Well, It's not looking quite like this yet, but we had our first snow fall the other day, and though it didn't stick to the ground,  that didn't make it any less spectacular. I went for a long walk and was just way to happy to not mention this to you guys... Snow is so magical and something I never experienced until I was here in New York.. I mean, I'd been in snow before but not like this, not living in it and waking up to it. i LOVE it. So, I googled a few pics (click through if you wanna see where I got them from...) and slapped 'em on here because, well It's not looking quite like this here yet haha but soon! SO so so so soon and I'm so excited. Just bought waaaay too much Christmas music on iTunes and I'm getting ready mentally and beginning to get gifts and I'm just so friggin excited for the holidays. Really, they are one of my favorite times of year. Winter....Winter....WINTER. I love it .. I never loved it like I do now, I mean don't get me wrong Christmas in LA is still magical, the trees, the santas, the shopping. It's always fascinating. As we get closer to one of my favorite times of the year be prepared for lots of mindless excited banter about the holidays..

Anyway, to the point of this lil bloggaroo, I am excited to show another outfit from one of our newbies that I showed you guys a few posts ago, I'm going to Winter time dress it up for the West and East Coast readers... meaning a 30 degree outfit and a 65 degree outfit haha. Guess which is which.... -__- jeeze I'm a lil jealous of the short and t shirt weather. BUT WE HAVE SNOW, which I like. a lot.

Which one do you guys like more? I want to hear from West and East Coast babes.. I like this shirt a lot because I feel like it adds a little color to the generally blegh weather, I feel like people stick to very dark colors (ehem, me!) and so I wanted to add some color, especially with the beanie which adds a lot and compliments the very bright yellow of the shirt, that has some spunk with the checkers...

I will never Fall..

So, let me start by saying sorry for the poor quality of the picture below.. It's taken from my phone,  I forgot to bring my camera out today. Now that the disclaimer is out of the way. I love Fall! Be prepared for this to be one of the last pictures of Rochester with leaves on the trees, and grass on the ground, and cement clearly seen.. This tree was something that I walked by and just though it was so pretty I had to take a photo..

Something in the air...

Well, it was winter in Rochester, or so felt as we had a little bit of snow last week, but now good ol' crazy Rochachacha is doing who knows what with the weather... So I thought I'd do a cool transition outfit today. Something that mirrors the confusion I've had with dressing lately... and yes, it will include my new obsession, Toms.

Just Because I Love...

Autumn, I am going to share with you some epic-ly beautiful photographs from my walk through Mt. Hope cemetery yesterday! It was so gorgeous, and I got lucky, because today is pouring rain and freeeeeezing, but yesterday was so warm and crispy. It was perfect timing for a walk!

Can't See Past My Shades, Past My Shades, Past My Shades...

Well, today is a sunny day in good ol' Rochester, which trust me, is a miracle. Its a lovely lovely October Fall day, So I have decided to put an outfit post that reflects that. Also, Today is October 20th, which has I guess become a day to honor the 6 teenagers whom committed suicide this month alone I believe. All committed suicide because they were not accepted for who they were, and that is not right. They were college students or high school students, and as a student at a University very close to one of the tragedies I think its not right that this day and age this kind of treatment is still going on.. Here at Rag Dynasty we are so incredible accepting of everyone no matter what race, gender, orientation or anything along the lines. we are a human race and are all so wonderful for who we are and who we want to be. So, I am doing an outfit with some purple matched in in honor of...Today I am even rockin' a purple scarf for the cause. Dolla Dolla Bill$ Ya'll

This just made me laugh, and started my Friday off on a laughing note, which I feel like is always a good thing right? Getting me ready to laugh all day :)

but obviously today, not tomorrow. I found it yesterday and posted it today.. love it!

Anyway, on a fashion related note. It is so cold and rainy here, so I guess this is how October is swinging here in upstate NY. Sooo, I decided to do an outfit post related to that. 

SO, you may have noticed that I have two pairs of shoes here... It's because though I feel like Hunters should always be the go to rainy day shoe (they're durable and oh so comfy), and though I personally love the way that they look on guys, some guys are not into the whole knee high boots, maybe too fashion forward? It's cool. Some guys like Hunters, some not so much. Here are some really rad looks of guys rocking the Hunters to put your mind at ease...

These guys both KILL it!! Anyway, I included the Tim's for you manly men who wanna rock em' with style and finesse, both combat the rain and cold well enough. So there is my two cents for you guys on the boots... to the Rag Dynasty I don't know if you noticed that the plaid looks amazingggggg in the bottom photo with rainboots and I just love that look. I think there is something rugged but definitely fashionable about it.  This is one of my favorite Rag D short sleeve plaids we have and paired with a warm cardigan and scarf it's good enough to brave the outdoors with then whip those babies off and you're stylin' indoors with a short sleeve..

Welcome Fall...

Well, It's October 6 and Fall is in full swing here in New York!! Its good times, chilly time for sure but it is truly splendid. It's such perfect flannel and blazer or sweater weather. Soooo, I decided to show an outfit that I think appropriate for the fall, slash that I just think is great for keeping warm in the coooooool days.

By the way, Polyvore has decided to be mean and not function properly, so I'm using, yet again my favorite plaid because it kinda gives for the same kind of feel!

I feel like cherry on top of this outfit are the Toms, they are such comfy shoes! I want a pair so bad...Anyway, this just seemed like a good outfit to kick into a new month with.

How are everyones Octobers starting? anythin' absolutely spectacular going down?

I forgot! I made a kickass outfit, that I think goes along for the goodbye summer BBQ that everyone should be throwing. Well, I suppose I'm not throwing one, but if i was! this is what I'd wear.

Well, I do believe that today is the last day of summer...it's strange, isn't it? I feel like Summer began 2 days ago, but now its ending. With the ending of Summer, comes the beginning of Fall, which means sweater-weather, corduroys, vests, pants, and real shoes -- wait, real shoes... Does that mean I can't live in my flip flops anymore? I don't think I even know HOW to do that.

I've compiled some of my favorite summer moments, just to end the my summer with you guys and move onto sweater weather, though I must admit, it was 80 degrees here in upstate NY today, and is supposed to be ninety by the end of the week, so that's not the transition into Fall I was expecting, but I guess the Sun has spoken, and I am more than OK with a few more days of sunny dressing...
